Salvation Is Here – Yan’s mum

I am just simply so glad about what God is doing in my family. Ever since I came to know Christ, my desire is to see my family getting save.

As most of you have known, my mum accepted Christ on Christmas day. I was so shock to see her walking down to the front and say the sinner’s prayer. I have been spending a a lot of time praying for my mum and finally, she accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and saviour.

The seed has been planted in her on 31 Aug 2006 when she came for the service for Ps. Peter Lim. I believe God has been working in her ever since. She started to come for most of the evangelistic events of the church such as Jack Choo’s rally, Pan Xiu Cong rally, Billy’s rally and many others. After sometime, she even started to join me for Saturday service. It was really a great joy to go to church with her. And now, she is joining Pastor Christine's cell group and going for bible study. I believe soon my whole family will come to know our God.

I believe she came to know the Lord also because of the care and love she felt in the brothers and sisters of TnT. The cell group that was held in my house every Friday has indirectly impacted my family. Initially when the cell group was held in my house, my brothers felt very uncomfortable and will put on a black face, but now, whenever we are having cell group in my house, they will be very friendly and even used the side door to go out so that they will not disturb us. I believe they see the love and fellowship of Christ in us.

As the bible says in Acts 16:31 - Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household. I believe that as we continue to faithfully pray for our family, in God’s timing, we be able to see God working in our family.
